The snow avalanche of Coll de Pall (February 10th, 2018) mobilized around of 2,431m3, travelled around 400m and cumulated 2.5m on a road. Recognition campaigns revealed that the avalanche may be classified as a dry, dense flow with some cohesion. The event was simulated with Iber, a 2D-SWE-based numerical tool that implements an ad hoc numerical scheme for the friction terms. The model achieved good results, stable numerical solutions and the flow stops without considering additional criteria.
