Synoptic climatology of accidental avalanches in southwestern Europe

Over the past decades, there have been numerous accidental avalanches in Spain, Andorra and the French Pyrenees that have caused damage to infrastructures or deaths in recreational activities in the middle and high mountains. These accidents have occurred by different causes and it is possible to obtain regional patterns that in the future can predict events of similar characteristics and consequences. In this poster presentation we want to present the preliminary results that we have obtained.
